Devon Pearce, exhibiting at the Real Food Cafe from 8th February
February 2016
From 8th February 2016 we welcome Devon Pearce, an upcoming, Exeter based artist, who's work explores wildlife and the natural world, creating expressive and upbeat pieces. Devon mostly focuses on animals, and recently British wildlife. He was first inspired by this whilst observing the changing of the seasons and the effect that this has on animals and their ways of life. He was brought up in the Devon countryside and spent a large portion of his life here, being drawn in by the beauty of the local wildlife and the countryside.
He aims to capture character and personality within the animals' faces and body language, and to portray a playful narrative style as well as creating visually pleasing imagery. He uses a range of mediums, such as acrylics, watercolours, pens and pastels, and includes mark marking and graffiti in much of his work.
Check out more of Devon's work on his facebook page. He is also available for commissions.

Check café opening times for exhibition hours.
