Real Food Store voted 'Best Independent Retailer' in Food Reader Awards
We at Real Food are thrilled to have been crowned 'Best Independent Retailer' at the Food Magazine Reader Awards held at Yeo Valley on Jan 25th. Since September, 'Food Magazine' readers have been voting for their favourite food businesses across 13 different categories. In all 110,000 reader votes were cast in the biggest round of voting in the award's five years of history.

We were up against some tough competition in our category, including finalists 'Rick Stein's Deli, Padstow' and the well renowned Philip Warren Butchers, Cornwall'. The awards were launched by Salt Media five years ago through its publication Food magazine with the aim of celebrating the very best restaurants, cafes, pubs, chefs, producers, retailers, cookery schools and bloggers in the South West.
We would like to thank all our customers and friends of the store who took the time to vote for us. Also, many thanks to all our staff, volunteers, members and directors who have helped shape the store into the success it is. Onwards and upwards!
